The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition designed for students in grades 7-12, offering a unique platform for exploration, innovation, and collaboration in the field of robotics and technology. In FTC, teams of students are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a dynamic and exciting game-based engineering challenge.

 

We have won numerous awards at both the regional and state level. This includes 1st place recognition various divisions like Connect and Design, along with overall awards like 1st Winning Alliance Captain and the 1st Inspire Award.

 

At team Cybotz, we have a drive to innovate in programming, build, and design technologies. We also have a vested interest in making STEM more accessible to thousands of individuals in our community. This is our 3rd year in FTC and our 6th year in FIRST, and we are excited to further elevate our robotics journey this season!

 

Applicants to team Cybotz should exhibit a genuine interest in robotics and related fields, committing time and effort to team activities including meetings and competitions. Demonstrating effective teamwork, problem-solving skills, willingness to learn new technologies, and flexibility in scheduling, is essential. We want members to have fun, maintain a positive attitude, and enjoy the process. While prior experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory; we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds and a passion for STEM!
